Welcome to SENTEMENTE ♩ Co. ☞ My name is Carlos Costa Alves.
I’m a Composer, Vocalist and Musician based in Porto, PT.
I’m also a Record Producer, Studio / Live Recording & Mix Engineer.
This website features some of my work, mostly in the studio realm.

2026 UPDATE After nearly two decades working in the industry, mostly as a Musician, Producer and Freelance Studio / FOH Engineer, in 2025-26 SENTEMENTE transitioned into its 3rd iteration since inception in 2010, as I was finally able to move the studio into a new facility. Building a lot of it from scratch has been both a humbling and a learning experience but at the same time an extremely rewarding and fulfilling adventure.

SENTEMENTE ♩ Co. | Creative HUB is now operating out of a 500sqm two-story building in Rua das Moitas 40, 4460-047, Matosinhos, with free parking, a RECORDING STUDIO, five (5) isolated, acoustically treated, air conditioned PRODUCTION / REHEARSAL ROOMS (from 21 to 32sqm), a multi-purpose 200sqm space (HUB) and… more to come later!

→ My VISION is creating a unique multifaceted space & vibrant multi-disciplinary community, where artists, musicians, producers, audio engineers, photo/videographers, actors, dancers, performers & other creative individuals, come to create, rehearse, record, mix, shoot, film, learn & teach, but also connect/collaborate with other creatives on new projects, build synergies and most importantly… a place that feels like (a creative) home away from home.
